 Threaded barrels for 4" M&P 45acp?

Just curious what's out there. I've got the 4" and damned happy with it. It's the first non 1911 45 that I've really liked. My P220 is a nice gun but the M&P really fits me well. Hoping to set it up for an Osprey if a barrel is available. I am not opposed to buying another in a 4.5" if need be but I really like the midsize.

Storm Lake makes threaded barrels for the mid/compact .45s, but the cheaper route is to buy a S&W factory fullsize barrel from Brownells & have your smith thread it concentric.

I did the latter for my 45C, & it runs perfectly w/ either the Osprey or TI-Rant on it.

This is what I would do.

So, a full size barrel will work for the 45C?

If so, Gemtech looks like a good deal

I would buy a s&w full-size barrel and have a smith chop to the right length and re thread
