M&P9c backstrap question

Perhaps dumb questions - but I picked up a used M&P9c a while back and it only came with the backstrap that was installed on it. Are they marked for size? If not, how do I determine what size is on it? Where is a good source for finding other sizes? Thought I might see if I can try different sizes on to see if one suits me better than what is already there.

Yes, once you remove it, they have a S,M, or L inside. Most places that stock them seem to usually be out of them, but there are a few people out there buying them in quantity, stippling, and reselling them...so they might be an alternative as well.

Thanks guy - the Small is installed, now to figure out what size I like best without just buying them all.

They are pretty cheap. You might call S&W and tell them you bought a used one with only one backstrap, they might just send you the other two. Stranger things have happened.
FWIW, I have medium (I guess) sized hands, I HATE the way Glocks feel, and the small backstrap works best for me on the full size and compact guns.

You can order straight from SW fairly cheap.
The Medium is the most popular from what I've seen. SW sent me a Large for free when I called to order one... I wanted to stiple one and have one "smooth" in case I didn't like the stipled grip.

Good call! I actually called S&W this morning and told them just this, and they are sending me the other two sizes gratis. I had my card out ready to give them the info and all they asked for was my mailing address.

So if these guys who offered to give him one would have done so and then later on down the road decided to sell their M&P for whatever reason, would that have been crappy?
