So the only version that my dealer could (supposedly) acquire for me was the one with the ghey magazine disconnect safety.
I've found a few videos on Youtube on how to remove it.
Have any of you guys ever done it?
Opinions?
I would just buy a sear housing block that does not have it.

Buying a new sear housing is just about as easy as removing the disconnect. The hardest part is lining up the pin holes and thats not hard at all.
Not to say that a new sear housing is a bad idea, one pin out is all it takes. I just thought it was fairly easy to remove the disconnect and replace it with a shortened 1911 mag release spring.
mod if you can do it tech wise. trying to find the non safety sear housing is hard right now.
