Has anyone looked into or have had a Fastfire mounted on their M&P 22 pistol?

Don't have a .22 yet but speed shooter specialties has an M&P fastfire mount.

The reason he asks is because putting extra weight on the M&P22 slide might throw off the cycling, whereas that is not an issue on the centerfire pistols.
