Hello! I purchased a beautiful stainless 686 4in revolver about 2-3 years ago for use while camping. My gripe is I haven't had much luck finding a good holster. The holster given to me when I purchased it was essentially two large steaks sewn together, it was unruly and cumbersome but VERY durable. I've also tried the Fobus holster, and like it for it's comfort and ease of draw, but it lacks any real kind of retention.
So I ask this great community if there are any great holsters for this handgun? I'm looking for something leather preferably, with a good thumb break. Can be either a shoulder or hip holster. Any recommendations?

Derp. My bad.

Bianchi.
El Paso Saddlery.
El Paso Saddlery makes a nice Threepersons holster to fit whatever model you want.
I've built my own for single action revolvers. Mine is very secure even without a thumbsnap due to wet molding of leather. Someday I'll get around to making one for my 586.
Lobo holsters...beautiful work at reasonable prices...delivery times about 6 weeks now, but he runs a one man shop...great guy to deal with.
