Apex FSS with duty/carry springs?
Anyone installed an FSS with Apex duty/carry springs.Randy Lee of Apex alluded to the combo in a post on the other site that shall not be named.Really want to get the metal trigger as I don't care for the hinged trigger and all the perks of the FSS,just maybe abit heavier pull since it's a no safeties carry gun.
Emailed Apex,they responded in just a few hours.

Unfortunately we do not recommend interchanging parts from kit to kit
Each kit is designed to serve different purposes. By mismatching parts you are likely to to have a function issue. From dead triggers to no enagement on the sear.
Unfortunately The FSS is a light, competitor kit.
However soon to come in the next month and a half or so we will be coming out with a new Trigger (physical trigger not just the pull) that looks and feels very similar to the FSS trigger (almost identical but with a few changes)designed for the DC kits But this wont be out for a time.

Very excited for this.Just not feeling the love for a hinged plastic trigger.Guess I'll wait to buy their Duty/Carry kit till the new trigger is out so I only need to strip her down once.
