I currently own a M&P40c for EDC, and with my big hands, I really could use a slightly longer grip. I know I could just carry a full size version, but I want something similar in size to the Glock 23. Something in between the full size M&P and compact M&P.

Pretty please

Get an X-Grip and a full size mag.

That would make a "full size" sans the longer slide/barrel....I'm looking for something with the grip being in between the 2.

Check out the SD9/SD40. I love mine, shoot it better than I do my M&P.

You aren't the only one. I've been craving something in the middle for a while. I like both the compact and full size, but would love something just right.

You aren't the only one. The best thing for what you want is a 45c. Thats what I'm going to end up with. It's very close in size to a mid sized glock.

You're not the only one. Myself and others have been saying the same thing for years. S&W already makes a G19/G23 size M&P––the M&P 45 Compact. They just need to make that size in 9mm and .40.

I've considered the .45c, but I'm wanting to keep the .40 as I started piling up some ammo for it already and it's a little cheaper to shoot

I could go for one of those in 9mm.

Why nobody at S&W considered that fact that the G19 is the best selling CCW pistol in existence because of the combination of reliability & size when designing the M&P is a total mystery to me.

I'd buy one in a split second.

I use extension on all my compact mags. I could certainly see the benefit in making a model with a grip the roughly the same size with a couple extra rounds of capacity.

What I like about the extension is it makes it shoot like a full size gun, but it angles away at the back so it doesn't catch my shirt/print like a bigger gun would

I would love to have one. Even with the 10rd MA. mags that I would be stuck with.
