 Looking for information on 5" 44 magnum

Years ago I seen a Smith 5" barrel 44 magnum. The lug under the barrel was not full length. I did not have the cash with me at the time. Went back the next day and it was gone. I nearly cried, it had the best balance I have ever felt. Not to mention it looked awesome. I haven't seen one since. Could someone point me in the right direction in finding one.... Please

All I can find on Smith's web site is 4", 6", and 6.5". No five inch 44mag guns, is it a custom shop creation?

It is an older model they don't make anymore.

A blued 5" Model 29 is one of the holy grails of S&W collectors. Very rare and very expensive.

I believe if I remember correctly they were not a cataloged item.
