Best/cheapest reliable mags for 92FS?
I'm picking up an Inox 92FS from a friend this week and it only comes with 1 mag. I'd like to pick up another 10-11 mags and wanted to know what the cheapest reliable mags are, what brands to stay away from (other than ProMag obviously) etc.
Thanks
ETA: I see that CDNN is sold out of used ones for $10 each, any similar deals out there (if those were decent quality)

You can find REALLY good deals on the EE, lots of surplus mags there.
ETA: I have had good luck with the new sand-resistant USGI mags as well as 92fs factory mags with the thicker floorplate.
The checkmate USGI contract mags sometimes have followers that tilt at inopportune times (ie real life), so I stay away from those. It may be superstition at this point but YMMV.
Mec-Gar is good aftermarket. Not sure the price these days, though.
I have stuck with factory mags or Mec Gar and both have been flawlness.
Like an earlier poster said - the EE here is great. I think you can expect 12-17 a piece for mags to be the going rate for good ones.
My local gun store sells used factory 92fs Beretta mags in 15 and 17rd for 15 bucks. I bought several LE/Mil 15rds from them. I've also bought several 17rd mags for the house. I have the Mecgar 18rd mags for my Sub2000.
Only brand magazines I buy are Beretta and Mecgar.

Watch CDNN every weekend. They usually have MDS mags for $15 a pop.

MDS is OE for Beretta.
My favorite magazine is the current GI contract magazines, made by Airtronic. Used them in the sandbox, never in anger however. CDNN had them on sale for $10 and I bought a bunch to use for 3 gun matches. Avoid all checkmate magazines, although the newer ones seem to be okay.
I ordered the mecgar 18rds from brownells prior to last deployment. They sit nearly flush and functioned flawlessly through the 2k rounds I fired on deployment. The 5th SFG admin guys had the same mags with +2 base plates and had no trouble either. I looked but they are no longer listed on brownells that I can see, but I would search them out.
Brownell is to expensive.
44Mag.com has mecgar much cheaper

Also keep an eye on the beretteusa site. Beretta tends to discount parts quite a bit. They have been running sales on 9mm and 40 S/W mags for a while. I'm just hoping they discount the 9mm 30rd and the 15rd sand resistant mags. I have two of the sand resistant mags in 40 S/W. Those mags come faster empty then a fully load regular mag comes out.

cdnn has some pretty good sales on them every couple of months.I just got a 92fs compact, and was planning on getting a couple 10 rounders from cdnn, checked thier site, and they had them on sale for 9.99 down from 18.99,so I got 6 of them, also watch gunsamerica, a couple weeks ago I scored 10 surplus mags for 40.00 delivered.1 was a factory beretta,4 were the parked ckmates, but had brand new springs, and followers, and the rest were the newer ckmates.just for the new springs, and followers it would have cost me more, than the 10 mags. btw. if the 10 rnd compact mags go on sale again, and you need new springs, and followers.the 15 rnd mags use the same ones.thats still half the price of the beretta site. the rest of my mags are mds factory, mecgar 18's,and police trade ins.I like the mcgars the best.
Looks like Midway is the best place to get factory 30 rounders (with my C&R FFL discount, I can get them for $33 each once they're back in stock)
I'll probably try posting on the EE or waiting for CDNN to have normal 15 rounders on sale.
