I looked into this a bit myself. Unfortunately I haven't found anyone that does a Mechtech style conversion or anything like that. About the closest thing that I have found are carbines that use the same magazine. I haven't even been able to spot a shoulder stock for like there is for the glock, browning hipower, etc.

Wait! I stand corrected, there is THIS: http://www.israeldefensestore.com/roni-m9.html

But that would make it NFA and you wouldn't have a longer barrel. I suppose you could hunt for a longer barrel to make it worth it. OR use a suppressor or something, but man that is quite a bit of cash outlay.

I think the CX4 kinda killed the market for such a thing. Why bother with a stamp if you can get a light and handy carbine that you can SBR later if you want? And takes M9 mags.

If I were to get a pistol-cartridge carbine I would probably opt for the SUB2000 that takes beretta mags. It folds!

They also make a version for the Beretta 96, as well as various glocks.

Mech-Tech themselves advertised a "coming soon" Beretta 92/96 version (as well as a BHP version, IIRC) several years ago... alas, it never came to be.

Have to agree –– I absolutely love my CX4 Storm.

If I carried B92s, it would be my primary PCC of choice.

I don't have a 92 yet, because i'm looking for a rare variation, but when I get it, a CX4 will follow me home shortly thereafter. Along with a can.

They are making a 16" model for us Lugs so we do not have to get a tax stamp.
I am not sure if the barrel is a rifled replacement or just a 16" extension to foil concealment and meet the NFA requirements.
Look at the website.

Beretta made a hand full of factory 92SB SBRs in the mid 80's useing a 93R stock and adaptor on on otherwise factory full size 92. I passed on one several years ago and regret it as it was the last one I've seen. If you can find a 93R stock the conversion and machine work really isn't very technical.
