I was ordering some other stuff and got one of these for my range bag. They sure do look and feel cheap compared to Beretta factory mags.

Are you sure it's a USGI contract mag and not one of the Eagle mags that they sell for $5.99? I've seen CDNN ads that mention including a free Eagle mag.

Aren't the true G.I. mags the type that give the M9 an unreliable rep in the military?

The CDNN mags are made by Airtronics, and are great magazines. Airtronic replaced Checkmate, who may have made the good metal paperweights but the worst pistol magazines on the planet.

Please

Checkmates are not bad. Even the pre 02/04 magazines work pretty good if you don't have to go into desert combat.

Checkmates & Airtronics both suffer from the same problem, the magazine spring wears out much faster than factory Beretta mags.

This!

The real paperweights are the Eagle, Pro-Mag and no name magazines.

I bought 2 of them back when this sale was 1st going on.

They work well.

Have 2 Italian PB Beretta mags that have a weird malfunction - slide locks back with 1 round still in the mag.

These Airtronics ones don't do that.
