Replacing 92fs stock red dot sights

I love my 92fs but the red dot sights are infuriating. I don't understand why they couldn't do at least white dots like everyone else. It is very hard for quick target acquisition. I don't need anything fancy but I would like to get rid of the red dots. Any suggestions, preferably as cheaply as possible.

Supposedly, white is hard to see against the silver face of that front sight.

Just get model paint, and use a needle to drop it on the existing red sight.

Or, go to Tooltech Gunsight - for $150 + $17.50 return shipping, you can get night sights installed. They will have tritium, with nice bright, white circles around the tritium..

The Tooltech option sounds nice. Anyone have it done? It says they have to drill out the front sight...

Yes, word is that they do the factory night sights for Beretta.

I have one 92FS I carry daily with factory night sights. I also send 2 slides off this past Spring to Tooltech. With shipping both ways included in the time... I got the first back in 3 weeks, and the 2nd in 2 weeks. They did a fantastic job...

+1 on Tooltech. Had them do this to my 92FS slide about two years ago. Expertly drilled out the front sight and set the tritium vial. Highly recommended- took two weeks door to door when I had it done. Have some pics, but they're on hunt101.

You just have to send slide? Minus barrel and everything i'm guessing?

I had tooltech install trijicon night sights on my 92 Inox a couple years ago and they did a fantastic job. I would Definitely have them installed on any Beretta I own.

You just send In the complete slide as per the instructions on their site. No barrel. No slide disassembly...
