Nice piece. I love Berettas.

You won't find many carrying a full-size pistol. We mostly carry compacts or subcompacts(4"bbl or shorter).
Here in New England, I'd carry that during cold months OWB in a level2 holster like a Serpa or iTac under a heavy coat.

I'd honestly pick another gun for more concealed carry.

Weigh 350lbs+ so the fat rolls hide the gun.............................

Seriously, as one has has personally made EVERY mistake known to man (& then some!), allow me to pontificate. With the 92 sized gun, I have two basic options: oversize, loose shirt or shoulder holster with some sort of outer covering like a windbreaker. As I can't afford a quality shoulder holster & have learned my lesson on buying cheap holsters, I opt for the hawaiian style shirt. Doesn't have to be the loud print design, just a slightly oversized shirt will do & it allows me to use a belt holster, usually one I already have.

Speaking from experience, just about ANY gun used for CCW requires a wardrobe adjustment to be properly done, i.e. not having the gun "print". J-frames might be the exception there. But any inside-the-waistband (IWB) mode of carry will necessitate a slightly larger waist size pants, unless you're already wearing those ghetto-style pants..................

Given all that background, I personally find it more comfortable to just go with a looser shirt than buying 4-5 pairs of pants one size bigger in the waist than I need. I also urge you to skip the small-of-the-back (SOB) type holster as it kills my spine when I sit on a hard backed chair.

Good luck!

I have carried a fullsize 92FS IWB for 2 years now. I am 6'" and 175lbs.

I can only do it at the 3 o'clock position. I can do it even with a t shirt. I carry it in the summer and winter...

If you are looking for leather holsters, Kramer and Milt Sparks are two excellent companies.

Regardless of the holster you go with, a quality gun belt is just as important, if not more important.

The few times I've done it, IWB @ 3 o'clock as previously stated.
I'm 6'-0" and 170lbs. A loose shirt definitely helps.

Gould and Goodrich 891

Blackhawk! SERPA CQC

Those are what I prefer. SERPA for OC, G&G for CC

Comptac pro undercover.

It's been replaced with the comptac infidel model. Same holster but now the belt clip is removable

I have a Milt Sparks VM-2 in black, left-handed, for my 92F. I bought it from a guy on the Beretta Forum earlier this year, and I'm VERY impressed with it. They are not cheap, and of you order one from Sparks the lead-time is almost 6 months. They show up used from time to time but be prepared to pay around $100 for a used one.

For concealed carry I use a Wilson Combat leather tactical holster. In uniform I use the Serpa tactical drop leg.

I also carry IWB with a kydex holster at 3 o'clock.

Most important is a good belt in addition to the holster. I can carry with dark t-shirts no problem, and now that its winter time its even easier.

I recently purchased 3 new Beretta 92s. I started carrying one as my CCW. I am currently using a Serpa level 2 OWB with a one size too big button up shirt or a jacket. But I ordered a Comp Tac Infadel IWB. Can't wait for it to show up.

I don't mind the weight, and as good as the 92 shoots I feel completely confident in it.

SERPA OWB ftw.

I conceal a 92FS daily - but only way I CAN do it is IWB. No way I'm hiding a 92 carried OWB.... Maybe in winter with a jacket on, but that's it.

I carry my 92 twelve months of the year - and its damn hot here in TX. Try carrying it OWB in the summer

I carry mine all the time because it's the only pistol I own.

I use a Blackhawk Serpa CQC holster at the 2:30 position. When I get into my car I slide it (and the belt) to towards the 3 o'clock position so that that beavertail doesn't dig into my torso. As I'm getting out I just slide it forward a bit.

I do generally wear loose / boot cut jeans and loose untucked tshirts. I'm 5'9", weigh 225 lbs and like to wear mostly XL or XXL (to account for dryer shrink).
Most of the time I wear button up short sleeve shirt also untucked as a top layer but not buttoned up or a no sleeve fleece vest for the light windy days.

I still plan on getting a compact pistol. I'd really like the 92 Compact 13rd or the PX4 Compact 15rd.

I have been happy with the Don Hume PCCH. It is an inexpensive leather IWB holster.

Comptac infidel IWB... I only do it at the 9oclock position (lefty). However, like everyone else says in this thread, with a loose fitting shirt it is easily done at the 3 or 9 position...

Its custom made by a local guy.

Its my 2nd Beretta holster by him, and I've also had him do a couple Glock holsters.
