you will find over a period of time that the pistol is absolutely trustworthy and will literally shoot anything you feed it.
You have a nice pistol but bulky by today's standards. The earlier Italian made ones from the 80's are more collectible. The original silver colored mags are expensive but M9 mags are cheap and plentiful.

Do this. I suggest ordering the factory stainless rod (comes with a spring as well). Will run you about $25. And, red dots/15rd mags are correct for that gun. It should eat anything you feed it. Mine gets an exclusive diet of NATO Spec 9mm ball. So reliable and easy to operate and maintain, it's almost boring. Almost.
