Do we have any field reports on the Beretta Factory (Stock No: C89282) 92FS & CX4 30-round magazine in 9mm?

I am wondering if this magazine is made to the same high standards that I have come to expect from Beretta factory 92FS magazines. Seems odd that the MSRP of $40.00 is lower than the $45 - $50 + range lesser capacity magazines are being sold for. Price is not always an indicator of quality, but a $40.00 price for a 30-rounds Beretta magazine is low in comparison.

Please note: I noted existing post that showed a magazine failure. Is this an isolated incident or not?

I believe we should establish a current thread to track experiences with this magazine.

They are built just like the 17rnd mags that come with the 90-two and 92a1(very well built). They fit nicely almost no wobble. I have not fired any rounds with them yet.

I forgot to mention they look COOL hanging out of my m9s

Glock 33 rounders typically go for about $40 so I think they're priced competitively, anyone have an online source for them?

I thought the factory OEM Beretta mags were made by MecGar. If that is the case (and I suspect it is) the mags stand a very good chance of working as advertised.

I haven't had a bad MecGar product yet.

Meccanica del Sarca (MDS) makes the factory PB Beretta mags and MDS mags. Mec-gar did make some mags for Beretta.

All three brands are 100%

No problems with my single example so far.

Picked mine up at a LGS for $45. They had about 20 of them and when I went back to buy another one they where sold out. Oh well, at least I got one and it seem BUSA has them in stock.

I bought 4 from Midwest last week and took them to the range Thursday. They worked just fine.

Just FYI there's some talk on another beretta board that someone got some 30 round mags from Beretta USA's website without the lower cover that fits flush with the bottom of the grip, so their grip looked like the Glock 30 rounders. Beretta USA made good and sent new mags with the correct cover on them but just be aware that there may be some 'incomplete' versions floating around out there. Beretta USA claimed that the cover did not affect functionality but I think they look good and serve a purpose, I wish there was an aftermarket cover/sleeve like this for my Glock 30 rounder. Mine works perfectly in both my 90-two and my CX4 Storm.
