As the article suggests, changing the mainspring is probably the quickest/easiest way to reduce the trigger pull. However, most SIG gunsmiths do not recommend going below a 19 lb. mainspring on a carrygun due to the possibility of light primer strikes. Also, if you are going to a lighter mainspring, plan on changing it out every 3,000 rounds.
