Difference between a Glock 32/23 and a 19 (other than caliber)

I have a Glock 32 I never shoot (whopping total of 49 rounds through it) in .357 Sig

I'm doing some caliber consolidation and replacing everything 357 or 40 s&w to 9mm.

How similar or dissimilar are the Glock 32 and Glock 19 frame/slide. Lone Wolf makes a 23 to 9mm barrel.

IIRC the only difference between the 32 and 23 is the barrel. But what differences are there between the 32 and 19?

Or am I just going to have to trade the 32 in on a 19?

You can use the 9mmLW conversion barrel in your 32. The Slides between the 357 and 40 are the same except for markings.

You might have to get another ejector, I haven't had to in any of my glock 9mm conversions though.

Barrel plus 9mm mags, you're in business or

you can get a 19 slide/barrel/recoil spring and replace the ejector and do a more permanent conversion.

I use a G23 with a G32 factory barrel, a LW 9mm conversion, a storm lake G23 stainless, as I need them without issue.

I just bought a G-32 on the E&E also. I like 357 Sig but 9mm is much cheaper to go through a training class with. So when I go to LFI II I take it I can bring a 40 barrel and use it from the get go and use WWB for ammo. OR get the 9mmLW barrel and also use the WWB 9mm stuff for the course.

That is great news. Which 9mm magazine should I get? (Need 4) I take it the 357 Sig mags will work with 40?

You could trade it, if you're done with .357 Sig. Makes sense.

The differneces between the G32/23 and G19 are the extractor, ejector, firing pin. That's it. I'm pretty sure the G32 has the same recoil spring as the 23. I do know for a fact that the G23 has EXACTLY the same recoil spring as the G19.

With those differences in mind, the only thing required to fully convert to 9mm should be a conversion barrel, and extractor. In my own experience of converting the G23 to 9mm, this was all I needed. Didn't need to change ejector, and the firing pin is never necessary to change.

I can tell you my G23 runs 100% in 9mm with these mods. I did have to slightly ream out the chamber on my LWD barrel, it was too tight. But most folks don't have to do this apparently.

Then just G19 or G17 mags, and you're good to go.

As I said though, if you're truly done with .357 Sig, might as well just trade it for a G19.
