Glock magazine crack

I just got a surplus Glock magazine (G22) and the front on the magazine where the round would ride on before hitting the feed ramp is cracked along the right side.

Is this an issue?

Try it & let us know. FYI I sent five mags back to Glock for followers & springs & they sent me five new mags FREE of charge, including return shipping.

Try cycling a full mag through by hand. If it has no problems it should be good to go.

I'm of the opinion that it's a piece of a machine that will eventually wear out, and it's cheap. I'd simply replace it and spend another $20.

send it to Glock, they will ship you a new mag free of charge.

since in my state I can only have pre-ban mags, when my mags crack or chip I keep using them until they don't work anymore. often they will keep working well with cracks and chips. I do dedicate them to range use only at that point
