Maybe 11-10 o'clock? That way it would be set up primarily to be used by your off hand in case of a gun grab tug-o-war and it would also be accessible by your right hand as well

+1 wear it to the left of your belt buckle with the handle pointed towards the right. In this position it is accessible with either hand.

I was thinking the same thing. I just couldnt decide which direction to point the handle. I think Im gona start off with it pointing to my support hand(left) first.

That's how I carry mine. Right inbetween the fly and first belt loop (to the left, about 11-1130) with the handle pointing to the left.

ETA: I also don't wear it on my belt, but have the clip under the belt.

Yep, this. 11:00 with the handle pointing to your non-gun side.

I bought one and played around with it for a while, but couldn't do much with the stock sheath. I also tried to get it somewhere around the 11 o'clock position but it just didn't work out from either a practical or concealability standpoint for me. I really like the knife, but the sheath gives it some real limitations IMO.

There are some aftermarket sheath available out there, but they generally run more than the price of the knife, which is a bummer.

This has been my experience as well. Like the knife, but I couldn't get the stock sheath to work for me and I can't bring myself to drop the coin for an aftermarket one

I carry mine at 9:00 position opposite of my gun hand. I also added a braided para cord that loops on the sheath and my pants belt loop. I did this so if I have to put it in my pocket and pull it out the sheath will stay back as I draw the knife. I don't have any problems when I carry it on my belt. I like the knife because it sits so close to my side that I always know it is there.

I tryed it there but i dont like it infront of my mag. I have been playing with it behind the mag or just infront of my gun.

i prefer it as close to the centerline of your body (ie: about where your belt buckle is) is for several reasons, inlcuidng: more physical control you have for access, retention, etc––ie: if its behind the mag, your arm has to not only reach further (ie: take longer) but it also is weaker if someone is trying to stop you from accessing it...

in front of the gun (if the gun is on the side of your strong side hip) is ok, but allows for only one hand to access it well imo (the strong side)

arguably, its best to have a fixed blade knife that is similar to your firearm draw (ie: location and range of motion), to facilitate a easier transition for access to either gun or blade

play around, see what works for you; best advice: take some hands-on/force on force and see how your access/retention of thsoe blades (and guns) work under stress and such

I carry mine at 11:00 with the tip of the handle pointing toward my centerline.

The best advice for these knives is to ditch the crappy factory sheath ASAP and order a good one from Dale Fricke, In Fight Access, or FIN Designs. The sheath will cost about as much as you paid for the knife.

I have been wearing it just in front of my gun. @1:30-2:00.with the handle faceing my buckle. I think i will keep it there.
