Small of back holster, Anyone like them? Something in the 5:00-5:30 ish position?
I am not super fat, but I am not thin ether, though from what i understand IWB is not great for guys with a bit of a belly.

I am looking to carry my Glock 26.
Thanks in advance. Us WI guys are going to all be in the market soon. Even though im sure many of us have holsters I bet we will be upgrading as time goes on.

ETA: I ordered a super tuck deluxe with the horse hide and one of their gun belts. They have a great return policy so I will give it a try.
Before doing so I stuck an OWB holster in my jeans to see how it would fit. I don't think it is too bad. I am 6'4" and about 275#
here are pics of what I tried.

With tee shirt over it

they always print pretty bad for me unless I stand perfectly still. there is also quite a bit of talk that you can have serious back problems if you fall on it.

ok, I don't know what to buy. I have over a dozen handguns and I am still thinking of getting another one. I want something comfortable so I carry every day.

if possible, try an iwb and see what you think for yourself.

I know a lot of folks with their CCW tag. No one, not a single one, runs an S.O.B. rig. I'm frankly surprised they even sell them anymore.

Awkward draw, it's very easy to sweep yourself unless you practice. Prints badly if you need to bend over for any reason. Uncomfortable when sitting. Almost impossible to draw when sitting.

Almost anything else works better.

Sounds like I will not go that route.
Time to find an IWB I can try.

In all my years of shooting and carrying guns, I have never seen a SOB holster used by anyone that knew what they were doing. I know one guy that wore one and he was mostly retarded.

A quality OWB holster and matching belt can conceal almost as well as IWB, depending on your body shape and clothing.

I am 270 lbs and use either an iwb or a fanny pack, i know.....a fanny pack...I use the Ka Bar and leave my shirt untucked over it.....it also carries other necessaties like an epi pen for my son, flex cuffs and a knife, flashlight and badge...either works well and the kabar tdi pack does not look conspicuous...just funny maybe

Crossbreed or Galco slide or pancake just behind hip [between3-4].

Lot of love for Milt Sparks Versa Max 2[ IIWB] however I have not owned..yet!

Don't forget a good gun belt - I've used Galco Contour belt w/stiffener for years..very good. Have Beltman.com w/stiffener for one[1] year and good so far.

If I want to buy the best IWB holster for a Glock 26 what should I buy?

This... I am not tall enough for my weight either. If I could be stretched about a foot I'd be ready for the NBA. LOL

However, good belt and any of the above options are good to go! Wilderness Tactical, Bullhide belts for leather, there are a lot of them. Good holster IWB or OWB. 3:30 to 4 for me with a FS 1911.

Good luck!

One of my friends (a BIG guy) uses a Blade-Tech for OWB carry and it works fine. Personally, I would go with a Raven and carry at 3:30 to 4:30. You can set it up for IWB or OWB and change it back and forth. SInce you are from WI, you are likely new to CCW, so try it for a while and you will find it works pretty well!

There is no simple answer, you will have to find what works best for YOU. What's "the best" for one guy most likely won't be the best for the next guy.

The CB supertuck is a good choice, it's adjustable, so try it with different cants, ride heights, and in different carry positions to see what works best. Typically a lot of forward cant and worn around 3:30-4:00 conceals well.

Pete, try moving your holster back a little bit. Just behind your hip. I find mine is much more comfortable and conceals better there.

Pete I'm about your same size and honestly let me let you in on some of my tips I EDC a G19 in a comp-tac MTAC with a comp-tac belt(similar in design to the supertuck)

PULL YOUR PANTS UP!-this may seem completely unrelated but it helps immensly
place the gun slightly behind your hips
you may need to look at wearing larger(or looser cut) shirts

a lot of this will be trial and error but eventually you'll figure it out.

Ok, gun further back, check!
As for pants up, I will try, they actually look like they are sitting lower on me than they really are. Also I agree on the tee shirts. That UnderArmor shirt was not the best choice for the photo.

Thanks guys, I appreciate it.

I have been happy with my SuperTuck for the last year and a half.

Finally got a new pistol (1911) and looking for another holster.

Came across these guys. http://www.whitehatholsters.com/Default.asp

Same idea as the supertuck, but the kydex is modular. for $20, you get another kydex sheath and swap it on the leather if you want to swap guns.

Seriously thinking about getting one.
