Which length ACE stock for Draco? 7.5", 8.5", etc...

Which length ACE stock is everyone using on their Draco SBR and why
This will be used in conjunction with a Stormwerkz folding mechanism. Thanks!

Off the top of my head I think a real Krink side folder is about 9.5" long from the back of the receiver. So a 7.5" stock with a 1/2" recoil pad plus the width of the folding mechanism should put you pretty close to the correct AK proportions.

I have an 8.5" on mine and wish it was the 7.5"
Once I have a thick jacket or tac vest the 8.5 is a bit to long.

I have a 8.5" on mine (also with the stormwerkz mech) without recoil pad attached. I was afraid 7.5" would be too short, but don't think it would be and if I do another one I will probably go with the 7.5.

This is one of those cases where it is highly based on user preference. Do you like short or long stocks? I am 6'3" and still like the shorter ones. Back in the day when all the Chinese guns (SKS & AKs) were coming in, I didn't like them as they didn't fit my shooting style at the time. It allows me to get up on the gun as well as square up, even with a vest on. You can also add length if you go with the shorter one with both the folding mech as well as the thicker butt pad. I also believe there are spacers, if not, they can be easily made. Where as you can't easily shorten a longer one. So I like the flexiblity of the shorter stocks.

I have a Lage/Tromix stock on my Daewoo dog (DR200 lower w/ K2 upper). It is just a tad long for me and I wish it was 1-1.5" shorter. While I can chop it shorter, it isn't as easy as removing (or adding) a spacer or longer butt pad.

I like the 7.5" also, but I prefer a short length of pull on compact rifles.
