Will a Draco SBR fit into a 5.11 Select Carry pack?
I have the opportunity to get a bag for a decent price. I am planning to get a draco mini and SBR it with a folding stock. I know it's made for an MP5, but I am hoping it will also work with the DRACO Mini.
Pics if you have one would be appreciated.
it fits. barely.dont put a ultimak red dot combo on tho....that wont fit
ill get the pics. but im busy this weekend. shoot me a pm/email reminder if i dont
I have a Draco C w/ the tapco slot muzzle break that I keep in one of those 5.11 packs.
Fits fine, I have the MI front end with a T-1 on it and there is still lots of room in the bag.
I would imagine that a mini with a folding stock would fit fine.
I believe 5.11 says anything less than 600 mm (about 23 1/2 inches?)

Wait? You have the regular DRACO in there? Can I get a pic please? I assumed the mini would be pushing it.
Haha I'm sorry I just ran back across this thread.
I'll take a picture tonight and upload it.
It fits absolutely no problem.

Fits fine with room to spare.
I usually keep a 20rnd mag on her but a 30 fits no problem.
Excellent. I must have either gotten a bad length spec on the mini or I didn't calculate the conversion correctly. I was coming up that it just barely made it under the maximum spec on the bag. I must have found the length spec for the regular Draco and not the mini. Now I really need to get a mini and sBR it.
I'm no covert ninja and have no real need for a rapid deployment sBR system, but for the price I got the bag for, I couldn't turn it down.
I did have one complaint about the bag that I expressed to 5.11. They don't seem to understand the issue, but I see it as a design oversight. But it only effects you if you use the stabilizer strap.
Thanks for the pics.
Yeah, I don't actually carry mine around much (though its fun to do and a great example for what qualifies as a pistol when I'm teaching my concealed carry class).
The bag works well when moving the gun around, keeps all the bits in one place. And the Draco is my truck gun so it keeps things fairly discrete.
