A second pistol grip would make the Draco an AOW (any other weapon) which is only legal with an ATF tax stamp.
I also wanted to put a forward grip on mine but the tax stamp is $200 (correct me if im wrong) the same price as an SBR stamp, I would much rather have a stock and dong for $200 than just a dong.

Any nfa stamp including aows is 200 large ones. And yes a donkey dong on a draco is an aow.
Yep, the AOW is only $5 if you buy it that way from the manufacturer/SOT. It's $200 for a non-SOT to make their own.
I'm not aware of anyone AOW'ing Draco's at this time. And you'll wind up paying the $200 to the SOT for his time/work etc. anyway, just to be able to pay the Treasury Dept. $5.
Although, maybe giving a private biz $200 rather than the fed.gov is a worthwhile pursuit in of itself.
The one saving grace though, is that the tech branch has written decision letters that the Magpul AFG does not make AR15 pistols into AOW's, so I don't see why they wouldn't make the same determination that a Draco/AK pistol wasn't the same either. It would only cost you a stamp to ask them.
Of course, tech branch letters are only good until such time as they change their mind, but it's something.

Its too bad you couldn't buy an SBR that way

$200 for your local SOT and $5 to the feds.
