Draco 5.56 SBR?

Anybody done one? I did a few searches here and elsewhere, but every Draco 5.56 I'm seeing is still in pistol form.

Agreed. Either my searchfu is weak or there just aren't any/many pics online of it.

I Thought about doing it, but meh 556 makes for a bad SBR IMO. Plus the weiger mags are $30 each.

My opinion is that they (rifle caliber SBRs) are for shooting bad guys in the face, not for shooting a high power match - the mission drives the gear. As a civilian, if you have an carbine for defensive reasons, the extra velocity that the 14.5" or 16" barrel provides you isn't likely to give you an advantage in most guys' homes. In fact, the extra barrel could be a negative inside of your house.
I've got a shit ton of Wieger mags to go with my SAR-3s, so the mag issue isn't a problem for me. I recognize for others that's a huge negative.
Not sure if I'm going to do it, but I'm seriously considering it.

Im doing an SBR 5.56 draco Im just waiting for my stamp to come back from ATF so I can pick up my gun from my SOT, I HATE waiting 
this will be my first SBR so Im real excited and impatient. Also I know peeps say the 5.56 from a SBR wont get enough FPS but if you go here: http://www.k-var.com/shop/downloads/articles/slr106cr/SAR_SLR106CR.pdf and read the article KVAR/Arsenals SLR 106CR shooting wolf ammo is getting ruffly 2500fps from a 12.5" barrel, I think the Draco 5.56 will prefrom similarly and if you are smart and buy expanding ammo in a 62gr or 75gr weight instead of FMJs then 5.56 should do just fine

I have found over the years folks advising what ANY bullet will do, have never been hit by one.
