PIC's of TWS DogLeg Rail System on Mini Draco

I know, I know............I said I was finished with the changes to my Mini Draco but I couldn't help myself. The Samson rail in place of the rear sight works very well but just sat too high for my liking. The TWS DogLeg Rail System is just what the doctor ordered. With this rail my T1 sits mych lower and I am able to get it back to where I prefer it. Sitting almost over the barrel just doesn't work well with MRD's as you have to move it around a lot to pick uu the dot. Now I get a lower 1/4 co-witness. I have never been a fan of covered front sight towers and red dots as I much prefer folding BUIS. I whipped out the dremmel and hacked off the front sight hood, dressed it up with a file and sandpaper, and re-blued it. The rail system mounted up in about 15 minutes and is rock solid. When the release button is properly seated I cannot budge this rail. I am sure it will hold zero. Cleaning the weapon is easy because the rail hinges completely open allowing you to get at any and all internals. The peep sight that comes with it actually works pretty well and would give you a better sight picture if the Mini was SBR'd as it would sit much closer to your eye.
The only other change I am going to make (for now) is to swap out the Bart Brake with a BattleComp AKBC that I am picking up this Friday.

Nice, I like how it looks, mine should be here today or tomorrow. How'd you like the Bart? If you don't mind, could you let us know how the two brakes compare?

If a person bought the TWS cover just for the rear sight setup for an SBR would it work with the front sight or is it too high? Looks to me that the Draco front sight is lower than a standard AK?

Yes, it will work as I believe the rear peep sight was designed to be used with all full size AK variants. I had to raise the front sight post probably a little higher then you would with a rifle to sight mine in. Even though the TWS Dog Leg works well with the Mini Draco, I don't believe it was designed with these types of shorties in mind.

It'll work.They're both the same height, The Mini sight looks shorter, but I just put my full size AK and Mini, muzzle to muzzle and they're the same.
