Got my Mini yesterday, range report

So I picked up my Mini that I ordered from J&G yesterday. First thing I checked was the front sight, it was straight. The hotdog bun was solid and stayed that way at the range. While at my dealer I put a mag in and it was a bitch to get out. The problem was an uneven mag release, it was catching on the tab on the back of the mag, so I had to grind it flat when I got home (dremels are so great). Before cleaning I also got rid of the weld that attached the barrel nut.
At the range, I'm loaded and aim at my target and squeeze the trigger, BOOM!! Damn, she's LOUD and spits quite the fire ball on every single shot. It was bright out and I could see every ball of flames, I gotta shoot this thing when the sun goes down. After about 4 shots, I get a FTFeed, shit! Fix it, next couple rounds, same thing. Turned out to be the mag that came with the gun, the other mags I brought functioned 100%. so did the gun. I shot 110 rounds through it. While I was there my rear sight got loose and then the spring that tensions it dropped out when I was packing up, but, I love it, I'm going to complete my Form1 today and mail it tomorrow.
My plans are to SBR it. I've ordered the TWS Gen2 Dog Leg. I'm going to go with the StormWerkz hinge. Some kind of AR stock adapter and I think an Aim Sports quad rail jus to mount an AFG on.
ETA: Just sent my Form1 off, 7/28/11, we'll see how long this one takes.

It seems you had some problems w/ your mini in the multiples, but it is also nice to see you worked on the pistol and problem solved each scenario.

Yeah, I did have some problems, nothing major, I'm glad that I got them sorted out, although the leaf spring is completely out now, not sure if it's supposed to do that, I'll see if it's a problem when I go to install the Dogleg.
That thing is dangerous, that's the last gun I'd chose for HD, just because of the noise and muzzle blast, you and the BG would be deaf and blind (hopefully it'd just be the shooter left to experience the effects).
I'm glad I got it too, I can't wait to make this into a SBR.
Dropped my Form1 of at the PO today, now I hurry up and wait.

I just sent my Mini Draco SBR form 1 in today as well... let's see how we do. All of mine in the past have been right around 90 days.

Sweet, I hope we both get them back in under 90 days this time. This is my fourth since march, my first one took just under 90 days. This NFA thing is addicting and expensive.

I am a couple weeks in on the form one to SBR my Mini.
Shot it today; 80 rounds of Yugo and it ran perfectly. That is only 130 rounds through it, so I am very happy.
