I measured w/the dowel rod method and get 12.25", but their are a few who swear theirs is 11.0" or so...

I have a regular Draco and the barrel is just over 11.5" long.

I've heard (read) 11", 11.5", 11.75", 12", 12.25", and 12.5". I can't imagine there are really that many variations.
Most of the dealer/distributor sites say 12.25", most people measuring are reporting 11.5".

Is it possible the "C" model is a different length than the "non-C" model? That could explain why the C model doesn't come with a cleaning rod.

11.75" on my non-C model using a dowel. That is with my slant brake removed.

I have a non-C and a C. They are both just a tiny bit over 11.5". The non-C is slightly longer- about 1/8" longer than then C.

I just got a C today, the barrel is just over 12".

[edit:] Bolt closed, muzzle nut removed, cleaning rod dropped all the way down the barrel, cleaning rod marked at muzzle, cleaning rod removed and measured from tip to mark. Between 12" and 12.1".

[edit #2:] 1972 C model.

I think any difference between those measuring the same pistol would be because they are measuring it from different points of reference.

Okay, I pulled all three barrels from my Draco C's and measured them from end to end (with no muzzle devices, just bare threads) and came up with 11.5" on the dot for all three. Now mind you these were REMOVED from the trunnions and measured leaving nothing in the way to jack up the measurements. Take it for what it's worth.

I would say that is about as good as a measurement that one could ask for, not just once but 3x.

Thanks for going this far to give us a 100% legit answer

Ah it's no problem. I was already pulling them for barrel work and figured I'd measure them now for the Form 1.
