What does it take to get a RPK74?

What are the costs involved in obtaining / building 1?

You have to find one, either a kit or a built one. If you can do the impossible and find a kit, you'll have to pull off an equally challenging feat by finding a receiver for it.

Kits and built rifles are out there but they're going to take patience to find and are going to cost quite a bit.

Sadly, yes. But I have something else in mind once I sell the RPK that I think you'll be satisfied with I can never get rid of my Krink, though.

Yeah, he just got that thing and it is pretty damn sweet. Bulgarian kit and I don't know how he came about it but I'll ask him at the next shoot I see him at in a couple weeks. You're right about that too. He sold off a nice Type 3 copy for an even nicer Dragunov. He's certainly gone through a few Kalishnikovs. He's evidently got more of a bug than he does funds.

Krebs has a few RPK's a Poly is priced nice.. Just FYI..... and my eyes are foggy from looking for them dang things

Well, I called up Krebs and they have one left. It's in laminate furniture with all the accessories. I'd jump on it myself, but I'm not in position to get one right now. I'm sure there are others out there that have been searching hard....so here one is.

He lowered it to $1000 smakers. The thing was 1300 last week. Looks like Russian wood on it, I might be wrong who knows.. Hell not a bad deal at all, I just bought an ARS AK-74 so Im out of play for a little while. I need to fix my toilet and here I am looking at AK's again..... I think prices were broken down before, but:

$1,000 Kit
$150-180 receiver
$300-500 build and finish

Current prices are painful. I sold a Vector with Soviet furniture for $900 and that was durring the presedential change "oh shit" reatardlery panic.

there is a soviet marked ak74 rpk on the akforum now for $1175
