Which RPD build is better?
Found a wise lite for 2000 or an vector for 2300? Read through the forums but couldn't get a clear answer. Which do you guys think is the way to go. Or any other suggestions?
Thank you
Beats me! I got a Vector that I am very happy with.
Wise Lite Arms is still manufacturing (under contract) semi-auto RPD's using our own approved design with the milled receiver that we manufacture.
The price you state is actually quite good considering what CFS advertises them at.
Are you being offered a new WLA gun with the 1 year warranty?

Wise Lite Arms
It states and does appear in the pics to be new, and also mentions that it comes with the factory warranty
Sounds like a good buy on the WLA RPD.
Since we manufacture them I naturally recommend our product!
One pointer on the RPD, it is designed to feed FMJ ammo, not hollowpoints.

Richard,
THank you very much for the info. Are these test fired form the factory to ensure reliability?
Thank you again
The owner at WLA has always insisted that our guns be test fired before final processing.
The range is small/poorly lit so no zeroing is done.
Last I checked we were using steel cased 7.62X39 FMJ when we test fire.
The guns ship from here in a wooden transit chest.
OH, darn near forgot this. On the production guns for CFS we keep all the parts from each supplied kit together.
We also derive the serial number we engrave from the number on the parts.
We did the same thing on the PKM's that we manufactured for MarColMar firearms.

i got a vector that was an early build.
went full auto and had to be returned twice. they more or less rebuilt it from scratch the second time and it runs like a top now.
vector was great to deal with even if mine did have an issue
I just need to sell my 4 sapi plates and the I will get a wiselite! m4whore
Here is my Polish 16" RPD with a Wise-Lite M60 FH. This was built by Stan and Jorge at Projectguns.com. They will be shipping me an M249 hanger it after the first of the year. I will post a 100 yard taget also that I shot off of sand bags at New Holland Gun Club in Lancaster Co. PA. There are some small 22LR holes in the target also. This RPD grouped real well. I will post pictures of the M249 hanger with bags.
I do have a shortened Bi-Pod for it also.
Wise-Lite needs tp provide a crush washer for their M60 FH. It keeps walking off of the barrel. Jorge told me he may have one and will send it to me when he ships my M249 hanger.

Wise Lite Arms makes that flash hider for several different applications.
It was originally done for use with our PKM's, as some folks wanted the Romanian type of flash hider.
You can see them on our RPK's over on GunBroker.
Project Guns used to buy our RPD receivers, those flash hiders and a bunch of other semi-auto parts that we manufacture.
I am sure they will supply you a solution to keep yours from unscrewing.
We have not had that problem on the RPD-Ka's and mini-60's that we manufacture.

Everyone who looks at my RPD likes that FH of yours. I may buy one for my pre ban Yugo RPK.
OR,,,,
Have Wise Lite Arms manufacture your RPD. WLA makes the receivers and all the semi-auto parts.
We have manufactured and delivered well over 250 RPD's and have another 100 on the production schedule.
The pricing and info is on our web site..
