Anyone convert a Romy Bipod to install on a Yugo RPK?
I've got a Yugo kit with the swivel only still on the barrel and a Romy Bipod. I was thinking I could drill out 1 rivet and switch it over on to the Yugo.
Has anyone done this kind of install/change out?
i believe the romy bipod is longer than the yugo and will hit the handguards when folded.my buddy cut the feet off, shortened to correct lenght and rewelded them on.
Use an aes10b bipod. It has the correct length legs.Century sells the bipod for about $20.It is a pkm bipod with a welded insert to fit the rpk barrel.
I had an AEB bipod and a M72 RPK kit that had the mount still on the barrel. The pin that holds the legs on to the AEB bipod to its mount was just a press fit, and not even all that tight at that. A minute with a punch and it was out, and swapped directly into the mount on my M72.
