Saw this on JGsales today and figured I share

I'd probably pick it up if I had some extra cash laying around just for its uniqueness

New arrival! This is a clone of the famous Russian Goryunov SG-43 belt fed heavy machine gun which replaced the obsolete M1910 Maxim machine guns In May 1943. This is a Semi auto belt fed (Model SA-43) replica chambered for the popular 7.62x54r cartridge. Comes with a wheeled carriage mount, blast shield, belt box and belt. CIA#RI1572-X

I was wondering when these were going to come out. It would make a great addition to my PKM and RPD!

They've been out for a while but just didn't seem to get a whole lot of visibility. Very cool but for me, it's hard to justify spending those kind of bones for it. Especially when you could get a classic like a semi-auto Browning 1919A4 with an original WWII M2 tripod, extra barrels, wooden ammo box, and an original 1919A6 conversion kit. Or simply a semi-auto Browning 1918 B.A.R.

But that gun screams uniqueness, though. Not going to see one of those at your local range.

All you need now is a team of miniature donkeys to tote it around. And if you're out shootin' with a buddy, hope no one says: "What are those @$$3$ up to?!"

I would much rather have a PKM over a Goryunov.
