Friend of mine that's very ignorant about firearms bought one recently from J&G sales. He has a tendency to ignore everything I say even though he knows I'm a gun guy and wouldn't take any advice. He had no idea he was buying a 5.45x39 until he got home and looked at the ammo (which was Wolf, sold to him as EVIL ARMOR PIERCING AMMO!!).
I'm not a huge AK guy, I have a Saiga that I converted myself just to see if I could and that's about my experience. His Tantal has 2 holes drilled side-to-side on the gas block and the gas tube leaves maybe 1/16 of an inch of space at the front, is this normal? I tried finding pics and couldn't find anything close enough and searching here and google returned no results with what I was looking for.
Anyone?
