Century uses US made Non-chrome lined bbls in their Tantals.

That's great. 1 in 8 twist or 1 in 9? And what kind of groups are you getting with it? For what its worth mine prefers wolf 60gr, try some if you haven't.

Not sure of the twist rate. I was getting 6-8" groups at 100yds, iron sights, firing from the bipod on the bench. I was not going for accuracy, just checking for keyholing. Could probably do much better if I took my time.

Make sure you clean it right if you're using corrosive ammo.

Did you figure out your barrel twist & model number?

I recently purchased the latest revision CAI Tantal from Centerfire Systems with this info on the trigger tag: Model RI-1594-X, 1:8 twist, 4-groove BB barrel, built on 8/26/09, Serial # Y0020xx. It fires and functions flawlessly using Russian (corrosive) surplus ammo with NO keyholing.
