Anyone have any tantals in stock? Or know what the “safe” serial number range is for century rifles? I held a century tantal at the gun shop today. I REALLY wanted to take it home, but didn’t want to take home a turd. It didn’t have any info on the barrel, or tag. But the furniture was flawless! And the park looked great. Nicest looking AK I have seen for a long time.

Just get one with the 1/8 bbl and you're good to go. 1/9 would be a second choice...1/7 is a no go.

I'm no Tantal expert but from what I read the new stock from CAI is "gtg". I have read that some vendors test fire them before they offer them to thier customers. You may end up paying a bit more but this might be worth it.

I got mine a few days ago, and shot it yesterday at a 10x10" steal plate at 100 meters and hit it off hand every time. Good gun, no recoil, and looks good to. Just hoping the safety switch gets easier to use! I can't for the life of me use it to take the safety off!
