7.62 muzzle brake question.
Thinking of playing around with a AK74 style muzzle brake on my 14mm LH threaded Romanian AK. It's a 7.62X39. I've read that the Tapco brake doesn't have the internal "combustion chamber", like the original AK74 brake. Does anybody make a decent 7.62 brake that has the correct internal chamber? I thought K-Var might, but looking at their site, they do not. Thanks!
KVAR should have 7.62x39mm AK74 style brakes. Krebs might have em too. If not, the Tapco copy is not the greatest, but its better than the slant brake, and its cheaper than the ones with the expansion chamber. But if youre not looking for the traditional look, the PWS JTAC works well, and the side blast is not like that of the AK74 style.
