smaller diameter cleaning kit?
I have both a 74 and a converted saiga in 7.62x39. For some reason the 74 rod fits in the saiga conversion, but not the AKM cleaning rod. I'm thinking that the smith cut the barrel at 16" and not 16.25", so that's making it just a wee bit too short to let it fit. So, my question is, is there a 7.62x39 cleaning kit that uses the smaller diameter threads like the 74s? That way I can just use the 74 rod that fits....THX in advance!
