AK47 HELP

HI all.
I need help my sons uncle just bought them an AK47 SAR 1 made by CN romarm in ROMANIA imported by GEORGIA VT CAL 762.39 is this a good quality AK? and if not could you please advise me on the better ones without breaking the bank this will be a Christmas gift for both of my boys and it also came with 10 30 rd mags and 10 20 rd mags do not know the make but according to the dealer this is a good AK and the mags are pre-ban and are good quality thanks in advance .

The rifle will be reliable unless the previous owner (if any) abuse it excessively or broke something.
Any properly assembled AK will be reliable given minimal maintenance and a mil-surp magazine in decent condition.
If the magazines are made of steel, aren't rusted inside and aren't dented to the point where the follower can't pass the dent, they will be fine.
While some people think mil surp magazines ffom some countries are "better" than those from other countries, the truth is that they all work unless rusted or damaged.

First of all thank you for getting back to me from what my brother-in-law told me is that the AK is brand new and so are the mags i did not see the AK or mags yet but from what i was told everything looks great the dealer took the AK apart and showed my brother -in -law all the internal parts and how to break it down he does not know that much about firearms but he feels it is in great shape.
And the mags have some kind of coating on them and wraped in paper i wont see it until xmas when my boys get it I will try to get more information on the mags thank you again and happy holidays
