Gang My new Golani experienced a minor problem. The pin on the back of the receiver that evidently holds the folding stock to the receiver drifted out under recoil. I noticed this when I detected some wobble in the stock. Has anyone else experienced this problem? I layed the wezapon down on a flat surface and took a small block of wood and placed against the pin and then hammered on the wood with a rubber mallet to reseat the pin. I haven't had a chance to shoot it again, but suspect the pin will work loose once more. Any ideas on how to fix this potential problem permantely. My thoughs were the next time it works loose was to put a little locktie around it's diameter and place a little in the hole on the opposite side and reseat and hope for the best. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. thanks
Mine does the same thing. I just keep an eye on it and smack it back in when it starts to work it's way out. I'm looking to get rid of it. I love the looks, function and ergos of the Galil, but the Century issues are really detracting the appeal to me. I can't just enjoy shooting it as I am constantly messing with it to get it to shoot.

CAI has a way of doing that. They bring out soemthing and I think 'Wow! That's really cool!'. And then you discover the turd in the punchbowl: shit welded that shouldn't be, headspace problems 'fixed' by grinding bolts, wrong steel not heat treated correctly...If there is a wrong way to do something, CAI will do it that way.
As far as the OPs original problem goes, It is an AK derivative: Can you peen the pin to lock it in?

The stock pin is just a roll pin. You could remove it and spread it a bit at the seam, or you could replace it with a new pin slightly larger than the one you have or you can try the loctite idea. If I was going to use loctite I would drive the pin out, clean it, put loctite on the pin and the hole it goes in and then drive it back in.
If the OP is having problems with a roll pin trying to reuse the roll pins is only going to make it worse. Measure the hole with a caliper and go down to the hardware store and buy the right size. If it's a proper fit you're going to have to crush the pin slightly. That tension is what secures a roll pin. BSW
