OK I have a M70AB


I just paracorded (SP)????? my Yugo underfolder and I have a question.......so what the heck is the little tab/hook that is in the butt off the stock used for????
Some added recoil pad?
A third contact sling point? (dout it)

That is the tab which stops the butt of the underfolder stock from hitting the lower hand guard. Instead, only the tab will make contact with the wood. This is the reason why almost every Yugo wood lower has a large mark/dent where it makes contact. I like to cut of the tip of thick plastic charging handle covers and stick them on there to keep it from marring up the wood.

Yup, when you see that mark/indent, it's a dead giveaway that lower handguard has been on an underfolder at some point.
