Recent purchase from J&G. Century M70B1. It came with no cleaning rod, so I ordered one from Apex.

Congrats, B1s are excellent rifles and my personal favorite. Get yourself a Yugo pistol grip (surplus or US repro) and sling and you'll be set.

Nice to see that Century is putting the manufacturer's info on the underside of the receiver instead of the left side like they've done in the past. Less obvious in the new location, looks a lot better.

Sweet rifle, Congrats! My B1 is one of my favorite AK`s.

I would have ordered one if I hadnt found one for sale locally.

I believe your rifle has an Ironwood Designs buttstock, which is US. If you pull the buttpad and look underneath it should be stamped with an "I"

I had called JG and asked if the Mfr. Marks were on the underside of the receiver since thats what the photo on the website showed. I was told some were, some were not.

Oh and since nobody mentioned it, check and see what kind of flip up night sights you have. You can restore them to operation fairly easily. They are either painted dots, or tritium vials. Let us know what kind they are and we can point you to some options for getting them operational.

My camera won't focus well on the sights, but the rear sight appears to be dots and the front sight a cylindrical tritium vial. It's hard to tell since everything is parked over. The buttstock does have the letter I stamped on it. Here's proof.

I ordered one last week. Should get it Monday.
Wouldn't wait too long... I remembered how many people were bummed when they ran out two years ago!!

It'll happen this time when they run out as well. For whatever reason, some people think that they'll be around forever and they act shocked when they dry up.

The long wait between the last run of B1s and this run that J&G has should serve as some kind of warning.

I picked up one of these a few weeks ago. Well built, but missing the rod and many parts were parked over that did not/should not have been parked. JG seems to be the only place selling them so it's only a matter of time before they dry up again.

None of it should be parked if you want it as close to original as you can get it, they were all blued when originally built.

Nice looking rifle

I don't think I've ever seen a US made AK that was blued anyways.
