First time i've had a chance to look at my Yugo I received a few weeks ago. Sorry for the quality of some of the photos as I took them with my cell...
There are some issues I have with the build, most noteably is the canted front gas block. It is really noticeable when trying to use the launcher site. Not sure what to do about it at this point. Been too buisy with moving to get out to shoot it yet to check functionality.

I haven't had the opportunity to discuss the blemishes and canted sight with the builder yet. After the length of time it took to get it built in the first place i'm hesitant to send it back.

Poor finish

Canted gas block

I like the blond wood !!! Both of mine have the darker wood.

Good grief. Hard to believe the builder didn't notice cant that bad. Aesthetic issues aside, depending on how badly the gas ports on the barrel and gas block are misaligned, it could short stroke on you. I would have to fix it even if it functioned OK, cant that bad would drive me nuts to look at. Good luck...

Yeah, the paint blemishes I really don't care about. It is an AK. But the cant bugs me to no end. I don't know if it is something that I could do (pull pins, realign, drill and put pins back in), or have done locally (vegas).

If you don't feel comfortable doing it yourself, Henderson Defense is local to you and has a good reputation. Assuming, of course, they are not the original builder you no longer feel comfortable with.

That's sub-par to say the least. Back to the builder !!! And he pays shipping both ways. Please let us know what the resolution was and your experience in the process.

Good looking rifle. Too bad about the cant. Your little problem will help out an ak newb though. (I may get a yugo as my first ak, and never though of using the GL sight to look for cant)

I am sorry but that rifle never should have left the builder. The paint looks like crap (I did a better job hanging the rifle off a tree in my yard and using a spray can) and the cant is just unacceptable.

+1 send it back, and tell the builder to make things right.
