shoot it, while its a gorgeous looking SKS its still a SKS and they do make inexpensive NON-corrosive 7.62x39 ammo


now if it is mint Winchester Model 70 pre-64 thats a different story entirely

Its not too much of a virgin. That laminated stock is a replacement. Does it have any re-furb marks on the receiver cover? That rifle may have a diamond shape stamp on the top of the cover.

It's a refurb in a laminate stock (that appears to have been refinished/scrubbed). Shoot it.
