finally had some time to try out my sks at 100 yards, target is a paper plate size, feel free to post some range results and pics of yours

these are good guns, i have one ,unfortunately i don't see any when i go shooting everybody at my range is AK crazy

I have a few SKS's that will group like that (under 3"), but the more usual ones are 4-6". That's some nice shooting and a good looking Sino. Do you have the original stock, too?

Question? Why the .223 brass in the pic?

thanks guys, i could only imagine the groups with a scope. i have the wood stock that it came with when purchased, blond in color but not sure if its original to the rifle. as for the brass its just to hold down the paper keeps curling up. i have another sks gonna try out except its a pinned barrel only put 40 rounds through it, bought from a friend and he never fired a round through it since 1991 got lucky on that one.

Try all different sorts of ammo too... I have an unissued Yugo that prints 2-3" (irons) all day with American Eagle "Soviet 7.62x39" red box stuff and 5-6" with most other cheapo stuff...
