how do i find out what country my sks came from?
i recently did some tradin an got a sks and i honestly no nothin bout it? i was wonderin what country but didnt find a good reference by searching an the pictures from the sticky dont show up on my pc for some reason...
Here is a good link.
Also the bulk (99%) of them will have an import stamp that states the country of origin. Some are very discreet, and can be located on the receiver at or near the wood line of the stock, on the barrel, or even under the gas tube.
If you can't find an SKS specific list, they were pretty much made in the same factories as AKs, so you can google AK manufacturer's marks and get a pretty good idea from that.
try taking some shots of all the markings and maybe someone here can help you to identify it.
there a mark usually near the rear sight or on the side of the receiver that denotes where it came from, use a reference online to match em
thanks i will use the link an see wut it is in the mornin. thanks to all replies

A run of the mill Chinese is going for $200-300 depending on condition and availability in your area.
