Value of Yugo SKS
Hey guys I was wondering what rough estimate would be on a Yugo SKS. It has a wood stock and is really clean looking. Just an estimate, I have the chance to get one for 180.00, should I? Thanks everyone.
The biggest thing to check is the bore. A lot of Yugos have frosty bores but are still good shooters. But a dark bore can leave you with a very unsatisfying gun.
If it is a 59/66 (with grenade launcher) then the gas system will need to be inspected, too. These can get corroded and create cycling problems. But gas system fixes are easier to overcome than a bad bore.
If you can test shoot, and it works fine, then $180 is a good price these days.
