Well took the scouts out to shoot yesterday. They shot the .22's, only one made it. Then we shot some bigger bore stuff. I had My "M" SKS out. I tried some Winchester brass rounds and My rifle doesn't like brass. Last time I tried it was 13 years ago with Federal brass. It broke the neck off of one of them. My steel mag had more trouble feeding than my plastic Bulgarian one but neither one fed the frist round very well. I don't know if a regular SKS with the factory 10 round would have as much trouble with brass as "M" or "D" models might. I'll stick with steel case rounds. I just hope We can keep getting steel case ammo in the future.
We shot at some tannerite. Fun stuff. The kids got a kick out of it. Oh and the kid that made it, He's the one that plays piano and sings in the choir.
