SKS hammer won't move when I pull the trigger

I have removed the trigger group and everything seems to look ok. All springs have tension and such.

When the hammer is not cocked the hammer moves all the way to the rear of the trigger guard. When the hammer is cocked the trigger only moves the same distance as it would with the safety on (obviously, the safety is not on). No amount of force can force the trigger any further. If I take a screw driver and tap the disconnector the hammer will fall like I pulled the trigger...

Any ideas what is wrong?

Nothing wrong. You'll notice on the end of the trigger assembly that would be closer to the Muzzle (the front or Right side, from a Gun Smith's orientation) there is a little extended arm Plunger sticking up, usually with a square shape to it. That must be held at a specific point downward against it's light spring tension, for the Sear engagement portion of the Fire control group to operate. It's a mechanical safety that ensures the trigger won't fire the gun outside of full lock up. It's Called a Disconnector Safety. The portion is usually engaged by the bolt, upon being in full lock up.

Edit:
Part #49 - Notice in the actual Picture it's the piece pointing Up & to the right, Top right corner.
Can't make it any clearer then that
I know you, know which part it is lol, just messing with ya. But The Functionality portion I mentioned is true. I just DCOA'd one of these 3 weeks ago.
