I have a Yugo M92 and wanted to attach a muzzle brake except tha the muzzle brake wont stay on tight and keeps coming loose during firing. Ive come to realize that I need a metal pin catch. It seems I need a metal ping with a spring so I can depress it and unthread the attachment. Unfortunately my krink doesnt have this and I cant seem to find the part any where online. Any one know where I can find one or some other way besides welding or Loc-tite'ing the muzzle brake on.

Thanks!

pics help a lot. I ask, b/c there should be a spring loaded detent that holds the muzzle break on at the front site. The yugos are 22mm I believe and if you are trying to use a Bulgarian or Russian comp, they're 24mm, so they won't work.

I dont have the spring loaded detent. I was wondering if someone could point me to where I could find one and install it.

The muzzle brake itself is the properly threaded 26-1.5mm LH thread and screws on perfectly. Unfortunately the vibration from firing causes it to untwist and since the detent isnt there i cant keep it from eventually shaking loose.

hmmm. no idea on a yugo detent, but I know where you can find bulgy ones. Someone who has done work on these needs to pipe up and say if they are compatible or not.

Where can I get a bulgarian one if I cant find a Yugo one?

I could maybe retrofit it to work.

Thanks for all your help btw I thought this thread would get no attention.
