What are your thoughts on this bulgarian 5.45mm krink kit? Value?
Looking at possibly buying this kit but many of the parts look like they are bead blasted, no finish? The seller bought this kit from Kvar about 9 years ago and says this is how it came. Any input? He is asking $800 for it. The kit is complete but I need to make a decision asap.
Thanks,

Sounds like a good deal, but i dont see all of the hardware. We can not tell the condition of the Demilling process as well. Need pix of the trunnions, possibly both sides w/ close ups.
wanted to add PLEASE dont be too quick on your decisions. Ask questions and get the pixxxxxx
Lesson Learned from a dirty BITCH =
HERE
What parts appear to be missing and whats up with the lack of finish? Is that normal among these kits?

After looking over the pix again, i believe that i see the hardware. I was talking about the rear trunnion hardware and latch. Looks like the sidle folder is still together = hardware there. Though i dont see a safety
Lack of finish = dont matter. Most builders sandblast or sandbead that nasty shit off any ways; and put a good finish on.
Rube,
Thanks for your advice.
I think he will take less for the kit so I will pick it up.

Your very welcome sir
My Copes kit a year ago
no magazine or
trigger guard, $787 shipped......... Go for it!!
brings back memories...

I would love to build one of these in 7.62 or 5.56
that is a nice looking kit
Where is the bolt, carrier and carrier spring?
Edited for stupidity. 5.45 kits are hard to get...i'd do it.
800 is a good price on a 5.45 kit. It hurts to say but that's the truth. Buy it
actually who is selling it i might outbid you

Too late. Already bought it.

Willing to bet the Original owner took brake clean to the parts to get gunk off, and the factory finish came right off with it....
Ask me how I know!!!

If you can get any kit in the 800.00 range for a bulgy AK74U is a good deal.
FYI...more krink Kits are to be released here shortly. Though not at their old prices...but pretty fair prices...don't know actually...but they might be @500 bucks or so.
How do you know?

with or without barrels?
I would jump at a chance to grab a bulgy krink kit for around $500 if the barrel is there.

Knowing what I know, you're either FOS or work in industry. I'm hoping the latter, but either way, why not share what you know?

I'm very interested as well.....any source for this or more detailed info??
Sounds like a bunch of bs to me.
+1
I've been SCOURING everywhere for anything that is even remotely affordable.
I'm calling BS!
If I can get a good deal on a bulg 5.56X45 setup I like to get one but I may have to settle on a 5.45x39. I would be ok with a m95 kit. Right now I am going to get my m92 krink built soon. It seems the 5.45 ammo came and gone here over there years so I was not crazy about building it due to the availability issue at times. Keeping the ammo calibers down to a minimum is a plus also. Sorry did not notice the date of the post.
wow, this thread came back from the dead...
