I recently acquired a misr-90 and am looking for some tips for removing the plate on the rear of the receiver. I am going to order some ironwood furniture to finish off my little conversion to rid myself of the ugly and uncomfortable thumbhole and this is the last thing I need to do. Any tips/pictures/hints would be appreciated. I have seen some of the work done on here and other forums and am pleased by what the results should look like. This thing shoots like a beast, now I need it to look like one...
Thanks guys,
Neal
I had a MISR-10 with a thumbhole stock and there was no plate. What does the MISR-90 have??
Thanks
not sure if you can see it, but the back has a plate. I hear others have punched it out, looking for some advice from those who have before I mess something up or make the process harder than it should be.

Any helpers?
This is with the stock...
